It is a beautiful day and I love walking Rosie. However, on our walks, we are increasingly seeing these "lawn ornaments" in our neighborhood. I don't get it. Why would anyone want a statue of a dog pooping on their lawn? Dogs can't read, as far as I know, but they may take the posture of this "sculpture" as a hint of what to do, just as we yawn when we see another person yawning. I can't wait to see a sculpture of dogs two dogs having sex with "No!" on it. Or how about a dog biting a mailman with "No!" Perhaps it would be nicer to see a sign that simply said "Thank you for cleaning up after your dog". Ha!
I take our paper for three reasons, two of which are pictured here: Rosie needs a job in the morning and I get a free dog poop bag every day. The third reason is to support investigative journalism in Utah, since someone needs to keep an eye on the dealings of the GDFRs.

Ha! Also, GDFR - Global Digital Format Registry? I think I'm missing something. :-)
ReplyDeleteOohhhhhh... That makes much more sense. :-)
