It was a blue bird weekend in Teasdale in many ways. We were visited by blue birds: flocks of Stellar's Jays, Western Bluebirds and Mountain bluebirds were visiting all weekend. And we went on two wonderful walks: On Saturday we went up Neilson's wash and on Sunday we drove down Poison Springs wash and walked up a beautiful side canyon that had lots of running water. We, as is our habit, were looking for good places to have a beer and toast the wilderness. It is amazing how close we are to places where you find no people but are rewarded with amazing vistas.
